Many of our regular players have been asking for a long range map and we at {LSB} are more than happy to bring one to you.
QA Testing is complete we hope that all will enjoy a slightly larger map. Shots out over 900 yards are present in this map. The main structure utilizes moving doors and teleporters to allow access to upper levels.
Moving doors are marked with a circular SS symbol, you only have to hit your use key once and the doors will open. Standing too close to the trigger will not allow you to see the door to open so feel free to stand back a bit so you can see the doors location. Most floors have a similar layout so navigation should become easy.
In the main structure where the tanks are stored you will note there are squares on the floors, these too are teleporters to get you to outlying buildings. The squares are laid out as are the outlying buildings step on the one you want and you will go there. Each outlying building has a teleporter to take you back you will have to look for these.
One door is not marked it is at the LSB bar I hope many of you will find it.
Teleporters are located in archways that you will have to look for, they blend in to the background walls pretty well.

Well, it took a while but LSB has released their first map for CoD WaW. The Backwoods has come back with most of the same environment seen in CoD 4 with one major change, a two story prefab from CoD2 was used to replace the mobile home from CoD4.
Foliage is more abundant in this map and it will prove interesting to find your targets, the rock ledges have been opened up to allow game play from them as well. Some of the previous spots have been changed but many new ones have appeared.
The LSB mapping team would like to thank LSB for assistance in the QA of the map prior to release we hope that you will all enjoy this remap of The Backwoods.

*** UPDATED *** Mod now has Primary weapon as long range and secondary as short range.
Snipe Mod is active on 69.90.34.208:28960
Features:
Bolts and Sniper rifles (only)
{LSB} Custom scope
zoom on sniper rifles dependent on size of map (melee / frag keys)
minimum 40 yard killing distance
no running with gun.... must move in prone or crouch or you will get spanked
45 second visible spawn time unless TDM map which you are invisible.
Rules:
No back up killing to meet minimum distance.
No same room killing
Exploiting or using any glitches will get you banned
No profane language will be tolerated - Server is rated PG-13
Do not harrass other players
Point System:
Kills - Distance Points
199 and under = 5 Points
200 - 299 Yards = 6 Points
300 - 399 Yards = 7 Points
400 - 499 Yards = 8 Points
500 and over = 9 Points
Kills - Headshot Points
199 and under = 8 Points
200 - 299 Yards = 9 Points
300 - 399 Yards = 10 Points
400 - 499 Yards = 11 Points
500 and over = 12 Points
Kills - Headshot Combo's (resets after death or normal kill)
Formula: ((10 + distance points) + (3 x # of head combo's)) = Total Points
IE: 4th head shot in a row at 100 yards is: ((10 + 7) + (3 x 4)) = 29
NEW - Bonus Points added based on Kill / Death Ratio:
If sniper lands an egg (100) bonus points added to their score.
If sniper get 0 kills and 1 or more deaths = (player.deaths * 10) added to their score.
All others are based on ratio:
Formula: ((player.kills / (player.deaths + player.kills)) * 100 ) added to their score.

{LSB} has added the 3 weapons from the assault category as sniper guns - (G3 / M16 / M4). Each are long range rifles with the secondary (m21) as short range.

{LSB} has migrated to our new servers starting today, October 26th. If you connect to the old CoD4 server, you will be redirected to the new server automatically.
Our CoD2 Mod has been pulled out from under the moth balls and is now active. This has our original dead guy along with combo head and the only mod with a heart shot.
Our new Teamspeak Server is also running. Please join us.

Head Combo Points

{LSB} Combo Head Shots are now active.
Formula = # of Consecutive head shots x 3 + 3 for the head shot and + ? For the distance kill
IE: ((4x3)+3)+2) = 4 head shots in a row times 3 + 3 for head shot + distance points for a total of: 17 points
Once your next victim is not a head shot, you start over with the above combo formula.
** Victim is not punished with Killers combo points, they will still only receive -3 for head shot and - amount of distance points.

Death Sounds / {LSB} Death Images

{LSB} provides another unique feature with over 85 famous movie one-liners as death sounds played randomly.
{LSB} strives to be a family server (pg-13) however there will be a couple of death sounds with mild language.
{LSB} Members and recruits will have their own death images for all body deaths with their own death sound which is not part of the random order.
{LSB} will use our original headshot image from COD2 for all headshots - including members - along with the random one-liners.
**** Notice **** {LSB} will respect governed copyright laws and will not will not use famous one-liner sounds for any other purpose except to play in-game for a unique {LSB} feature.
There will be a new download associated with this change
